I was astounded that such a translation was possible at all; 
for those writing the translation too, now it is just a matter 
for the next interested person to write (or more likely, find 
an already written) 'pretty printer' filter, to make the code 
human friendly.

[I would note that the Latex produced by Lyx is also someting 
only a computer could love, as it relies on custom 
definitions, etc.  Kile, on the other hand, is well behaved 
and does not have a local 'vocabulary' it forces on its 
users.]

Please .. I appreciate it, but it needs to get checked into 
CVS so that all can work on a colaboratibe writing effort.
