unwise/unnecessary? I have posted proposals every time before I made a
well with less than a fortnight between a set of diffs and a commit
i'd say it's too fast. and i don't recall seeing many diff sets
prior to a commit.
bear in mind that users need time to review the changes, apply the
patch and maybe merge in some of their changes too. that takes time.
change, with very little response by the community, by the way...
i'm still trying to get a handle on most of the material changes ...

yes absolutely the case -- some of the changes you've made have been
viewed by me to be unwise or maybe simply unnecessary so i'm still
operating on a baseline about 3 months old.
