[system-traders] ADX indicator

hey,

i'm  trying to figure out how the ADX indicator works. i've got a book
that defines how it works, or, it says alot of many diffrent terms
(-di, +di, dmi etc.) but it dosen't really state what data it's all
about. so i did a search on google and found geniustrader.org, took a
look at GT::Indicators::ADX and got really confused. it seems like it's
done completly diffrent then in my book.

so, my question is, where did you find the information on how the ADX
indicator works? do you recommend any books?
