The windows install was really quite simple (danke Olly!!) but it is
not up to date. Still, the test scripts work and now I am trying to
figure out how to setup and test me system. Once I've got that done,
I'll post a step by step "bootstrap" guide.

I'll start on the LiveCD. I too am busy with lots of stuff so it will
be slow going. Just wondering if someone can tell me the native
development platform for GT? If Linux, then what distro? Personally I
am prejudiced towrds BSD and Solaris...
